Blog Tour #3 Laura Sassi and I chat about writing and my new picture book, MOUSE'S CHRISTMAS GIFT
A big thanks to Laura Sassi for her friendship and willingness to host me on her blog. She had several questions for me about the inspiration for Mouse's Christmas Gift and more. Check out my answers on her blog at this link:
Thank you for your wonderful words about my art. I am so fortunate to have been paired with you on this project, Mindy! Love your travel collection of nativity sets. And I just love that you've had so much opportunity to travel!
Thanks for reading the interview! And if course I said all those things...they are all true!! I will have to post some more photos of more nativities... And yes, travel has a way of shaping us and changing us, more than we probably realize. That is one thing I try to instill in my Spanish students—get your passport and be READY—you never know when you might have the opportunity to go—and when you do have an opportunity—SAY YES!!
Great interview! Do you have a favorite nativity set?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Forest. My favorite is from Kazakhstan. I will have to post a photo of that one when I unpack all of the Christmas decorations.
